Computer Vision is a rapidly growing field of research investigating computational and algorithmic issues associated with image acquisition, processing, and understanding. It serves tasks like manipulation, recognition, mobility, and communication in diverse application areas such as manufacturing, robotics, medicine, security and virtual reality.
