This atlas is a synthesis of clinical anatomy and operative urology based upon the step-by-step dissection of a surgical procedure performed on a corpse and an accentuation of the relevant anatomical topography. Each step of approach is "cut" by a surgeon, dissected by an anatomist and drawn by an artist. Almost all illustrations are made from the surgeon's perspective and each avenue of approach has its own, separate explanation.
