The Internationale Germanistenlexikon is an encyclopedia that gives comprehensive information about the biography, research interests and publications of nearly 1500 scholars concerned with the German language and literature around the world. The contributions were written by 700 scientists from all over the world. This encyclopedia will be a standard work for all investigations dealing with the history of German humanities and a key to important data of cultural history.
