This story is about a Habesha mermaid Enkenyelesh who grow up in one of the Biggest Lake in Ethiopia (Lake Tana). She has no underwater castle like the other mermaid we know. What's really unique about her is, she is born as a normal Human baby, Fish on Lake Tana found her and Deicide to raise this human baby on this big river where Hippo and too many dangerous Sharks also live. So they go to Yewehamegnot .. who grant any wish for fishes living in this Lake. they wished if he could make her just like one of them . Yewehamegnot is their Fairy who has to bite in order to make a wish come true. Unfortunately, it didn't go well just like they planned instead he can only convert her half of her body. A journey of this little Ethiopian baby mermaid starts here ...the story is not only interesting it also conveys important messages.
