Longtemps reporter pour le magazine spécialisé Montagnes Magazine, il collabore à l'ensemble de la presse spécialisée du monde entier et ses reportages sont souvent publiés dans les revues les plus prestigieuses. Associé à l'agence américaine Aurora, ce passionné de montagne et alpiniste chevronné, auteur de nombreux ouvrages, partage son temps entre Alpes et Himalaya. Il garde un attachement profond pour la vallée de Chamonix où il habite depuis une vingtaine d'années et où il a ouvert une galerie photo aujourd'hui réputée.
