Inhaltsangabe

From a close up of a flower that captures its rich color and delicate petals to a wide shot of a foggy mountain lake (complete with reflections in the water), good landscape photography demands planning, vision, and technical skill. With excellent images, accompanied by detailed and fascinating commentary, you can learn to take beautiful photographs of nature, too. Several top photographers reveal their artistic secrets, explaining what they saw, how they visualized the picture, and how they dealt with technical aspects like exposure, filters, and composition to get the best possible results. Make the most of color by recognizing harmonious hues and choosing for strong shades that provide interesting contrast. Deal with tricky lighting and bad weather. Select the right film stock for seizing the moment. You might be surprised to discover that even the simplest act--like taking a few steps to the side--can turn a good shot into a great one.
