The book is a photo album with bilingual captions.The album contains more than 600 photographs from contact sheets kept by the U.S. NATIONAL ARCHIVES in WASHINGTON D.C. Some of Roth s reports have been reproduced almost in full, which gives them a cinematic sense of continuity.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Charles Trang est docteur en pharmacie, passionné depuis son enfance par l'histoire de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. En 2000, il a publié un premier ouvrage aux Editions Heimdal consacré à la division de cavalerie SS " Florian Geyer " suivi d'un album historique consacré à la division blindée de la Waffen-SS " Totenkopf ". Auteur d'une œuvre en plusieurs volumes sur la " Leibstandarte ", il signe avec ce présent ouvrage un opus de plusieurs milliers de pages illustré d'autant de photos. II contribue régulièrement à la revue " 39/45 Magazine " depuis plusieurs années.
