Marc Henneaux received his doctoral degree in physics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 1980. He held successively visiting postdoctoral and research positions at the Universities of Princeton, Austin (Texas) and at the FNRS (Belgium). He was appointed Professor at the ULB in 1993 and was awarded the Francqui Prize (Belgium) in the year 2000. Alexander Sevrin got his physics degree at the University of Gent in 1985. In 1988 he obtained his doctoral degree at the University of Leuven. In the following years he held post-doctoral positions at Stony Brook (New York), Berkeley (California) and CERN (Geneva). In 1991 he was appointed as professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB).
