Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Photographe et altotypiste, est né en Bavière en 1962. Immortalisant les débuts du Théâtre équestre Zingaro avec Colette Godard, il a reçu en l'an 2000 l'European Publisher's Award de la Photographie. Après La ballade de Zingaro aux éditions du Chêne, puis Bestiaire et Bestiae chez Actes Sud, il vient de publier Altitude (Éditions Images en Manoeuvres). Il vit aujourd'hui à Marseille et travaille en son atelier de la Friche Belle de Mai.

Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Very Good. Oversized hardcover with DJ. Both are in very good condition. Gray boards with blindstamped title. Pictorial DJ in full color. Color photographs throughout. Alt's wonderful portraits of animals. Short essay at the end in is French. No text or captions until that point. There are three postcards advertising a 2004 exhibition of his work tucked inside the front cover. Signed by the artist on the half title page, dated 2004, with a nice inscription to M-- P--, former director of the National Portrait Gallery and later director of the National Museum of American History.
