Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Hélène Bauchart was born in 1980, in Cambrai (France). She was a student in hypokhâgne/khâgne and has got a D.E.A. in French and Comparative Literature. She also majored in English Language, Literature, and Civilization and got a Ph.D. in English literature in 2010. She is passionate about the English culture and the English language. She is an educational designer and writer of teaching aid designed to help the learning of English for nursery school and primary school students. She has been teaching English for more than 10 years and has been committed to sharing her love of the English language with the largest public possible (discovery for the little ones, lessons to primary school and comprehensive school students, and training/skill development for adults). At Assimil, she is the author of the workbooks (Beginners, False Beginners and Intermediate).

Belén Cabal has managed to turn her passion for languages and books into her profession. She has been a translator of English and French with more than twenty years of experience in the publishing world. She has collaborated in proofreading, translating, editing and in the layout design of over 300 titles published by various publishers, from textbooks to children's literature, to works of popular interest and novels.
