Shot across London during a period of introspection, Pulp gathers portraits of individuals, siblings, friends, couples, and roommates in their own homes, wearing their own clothes. The result is a raw yet tender mosaic of unique personalities ― an exploration of identity and intimacy at a time when both seemed fragile yet meaningful. There is a quiet pulse running through the series. Sensual and vibrant, the subjects radiate a magnetic energy, their gaze holding ours. The project is the artist’s love letter to a city where he lived for over a decade, capturing its atmosphere and the people who made it feel special.French photographer Maxime Imbert is now based in Paris.
