Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Amy Dahan-Dalmedico et Jeanne Peiffer sont mathématiciennes de formation, docteurs en histoire des mathématiques, chercheurs en histoire des sciences au CNRS. Amy Dahan-Dalmedico est maître de conférences à l'Ecole polytechnique. Ses recherches portent sur l'analyse et la physique mathématique aux XIXe et XXe siècles. Les travaux de Jeanne Peiffer portent actuellement sur l'analyse au XVIIIe siècle et sur l'histoire de la perspective.
