Buddy Wizard for ages 9-16 A bullies' nightmare is only a whisper away Twelve-year-old Daniel is tormented by a bully at school. His friends Sophie and Tyler are also targeted by the bully. They listen to Daniel’s theories about a strange prophecy linked to their school, but aren’t sure whether to believe him, until Daniel unwittingly unlocks a pathway for the spirit to enter the school and a magical ghost appears. He visits everyone in Daniel’s life and gives them strange dreams to make them think. The bully needs to be taught a lesson … and so unexpected things continue to go bump in the night. The prophecy then comes to life in a spectacular way. ‘Bullies, beware – or you will face me to give you a scare.’ Excerpt from chapter 1 I read about a school orphanage and men in the eighteenth century who tortured people, including children. They were really bad people. Our school was built where the castle, manor and orphanage stood all those years ago. Apparently there was a prophecy. It says that children who died in the orphanage placed a curse on the wicked people, and one day a descendant of one of the children will lead them to invoke their revenge. And they will seek out and destroy all that is evil, along with anyone who stands in their way. According to this book, the prophecy could be linked to the school. Maybe it could happen at Middleton High. Then they could get Riley.’
