GCSE maths (foundation level) for post-16 learners has been written mainly for adult learners studying maths (GCSE or functional skills) in a range of environments including further education colleges, adult and community learning, and work-based learning providers. However, it is also suitable for 16 – 18 year-olds resitting GCSE maths whilst studying on vocational programmes in further education colleges or whilst studying in sixth-form colleges. It has been designed therefore for those who have already studied maths at school and maybe in an educational setting since school, but who have not yet, for whatever reason(s), achieved GCSE maths.
