HEIDI BISHOP is a Fellow of the Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators (AOGPE) and is a Certified Dyslexia Therapist certificate by the International Dyslexia Association (IDA). She has trained practitioners in schools and school districts throughout SC, NC, GA, and CA. She served as president of the South Carolina Branch of the International Dyslexia Association for six years, was appointed to the SC Dyslexia Task Force, served on the Read to Succeed Advisory Group, and currently serves on the Information and Outreach Committee of the AOGPE board. She has spent 31 years working in private schools for children with dyslexia and is now involved with a dyslexic charter school that opens in the fall of 2018.
