A graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx, Gil Francisco Suarez pursued his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Kansas Wesleyan University and Wichita State University respectively. Gil continued postgraduate studies at both New York University and Columbia University's Teacher's College.
