This book is about some of my experiences of business and I tackle the subject matter from a practical point of view. Not like other books that do not give practical information but actual practical advice and knowledge some book do not even touch on segmentation and mechanics of a business any business. this gives actual mechanics to the website business. "Branding Branding is all about the name, the colour in which the name appears, the style in which the name, the product appears in. This is about the product but more so about the name. If something is on orange and black I am going to remember that, there is no question that creates an impression I will focus in on. This could be as great as a USP. If done correctly it will immediately focus the attention of the consumer and grab their attention. When branded right you can take your product to greater heights. Just look at Macintosh (Apple Mac) and this is what there were called in the 90s. Through branding you immediately recognise and associate the products and brand. How the product works could part of the branding, the product could be branded in a particular way like “top of the range”. Advertising, marketing, Public Relations (PR) all have something in common they all are aimed at selling a product. Advertising is just a simple advert just get the product out there. Marketing require more thought some type of plan. PR is more directed attempts. What they attempt to do is attract customers or send out the right message to increase sales and it is all done through communicative means; that means that the communication method might be word and/or images or just the product with no description given. The constant reminder that these advertising is to attract customers focuses your attempts to make better advertising for the consumer not for yourself. Sometimes as an advertiser adverts can work work different level to the consumer so just be aware of that. In my personal opinion a business person needs to get the word out advertise with a lot of money behind it or in a very smart (cost effective) way."
