Right now, as I look at the upcoming months and where the planets are moving, my natural human instinct is to go into a place of concern, where I see challenges for myself, family, and close friends. However, the intention of this book is to do the exact opposite. The purpose of this book is to help each of us focus on what is feeding our lives. That is, the blessings ... the things going right! However, how do we find the things going right when the things going wrong hurt so bad?

The things going wrong cloud our vision with pain and with a feeling of no way out — when, in reality, the way out is focusing on "the blessings" in our lives. In essence, what is feeding our lives as opposed to what is keeping us up late at night as we try to resolve it. In this book, I hope you will find a new and exciting way to use astrological data.

This book came about after 15 plus years of a painful Saturn cycle in my Love, Fun, Marriage, and Commitment houses and the feeling that God had forgotten me. I kept having challenges in areas in which I wanted to experience the most joy in my life. I studied and practiced astrology for that 15-year period in order to understand my challenges. I later started my practice as an astrological life coach and The Power of Divine Timing ™ coaching practice at The Wainwright House in Rye, New York, while earning my master's degree in Holistic Health at Georgian Court University. I offered this simple yet counterintuitive approach to assist my clients on their life path.

I started to see my clients' lives change rapidly. We just rewired the thinking, thoughtfully examined the birth chart, and reconciled where the blessings were coming in, so we could nurture the correct source of energy.

For, as we know, whatever you feed grows stronger! Feed the challenges, and they grow stronger and start to walk around like a giant monster. Feed the blessings, and they will grow and thrive as well.

The problem is that this is, in fact, very counterintuitive. If you have a problem, you think on it until you solve it; right? It worked in math. However, in life and in utilizing The Power of Divine Timing, our goal is to shift intention away from what is challenging us and toward what is blessing our lives. We are usually taught not to focus on what is blessing our lives, as it is simply not posing a problem. If it ain't broke, don't fix it ... or, if it ain't broke, why focus on it? However, imagine if we were to focus on the parts of our lives that are feeding us, and nurture and feed those aspects! Would they not feed us more?

The question then becomes: what happens to something that starves? It cannot exist without a source of energy feeding it. So, this, simply put, means you can starve your challenges to death until they have no power to survive and wreak havoc in your life.

For, what I have intrinsically found is that when you focus on the blessings in your life, solutions for life's challenges can be found there.

The question then becomes: where are my life's blessings? What is going to go right in my life? What is going right in my life now? This can be a hard question, when challenges are speaking loudly. However, a very easy answer is provided if we look to the placements of the stars and planets as they respond to your natal chart.

As I look to 2019 ... I look as a child awaiting Christmas! The Year 2019 has so many stellar aspects within the scope of The Power of Divine Timing, I can't help but be elated. Year 2018 was quite different by comparison, which I've included as a bonus, for reflection on recent events. While we had some amazing aspects and lots of change, there were several tests from the Universe. In 2019, the Planetary energy is quite different, thank heavens. As Uranus recently glided into Taurus — joining Planets in complimentary fellow Earth and water signs like Pluto in Capricorn, Neptune in Pisces and Saturn in Capricorn — we can experience a reality that is grounded in hope, practicality, and manifestation.

As I look to the Planets, each Planet has a lesson plan designed for us, so I truly see the Planets as teachers and astrology as an email from the Universe, or the heavens, if you will. Uranus is teaching us self-acceptance and originality; Saturn is teaching us discipline; Jupiter is teaching us benevolence and possibility; the Sun is teaching us manifestation; Neptune is teaching us spirituality, Venus teaching us about beauty, and what we truly value and how to get it. Meanwhile Pluto teaches us about transformation, Mercury about communication, Mars assertiveness and survival, and the moon about intuition, and so on.

Throughout the years, as I have studied astrological data and have done hundreds of charts for clients, I have learned that you can see everyone you know in your birth chart. The people you were born with, and birth influences show up in your Natal chart and the people, energies, and lessons along your path show up in the transits, which are the movement of the Planets.
