A young boy of eight, cold, hungry, sharing his life with others. Yet Christmas is a word, they have never heard of, or experienced, in their lives. Nevertheless this boy is a determined character. He feels a need for change in his life, his imagination, urges him to, at least try. There must be something out there, better than what he has now. He thinks constantly of nothing else. But how can he get it started, this change in his life, he so desperately needs. Gradually, day and night, he develops a plan. His plan needs many different things to come together at the same time, otherwise, it could be a complete disaster and if that should happen, he would suffer dearly for it.
