This is a transcript of the speech delivered by Ernst Roehm, the leader of the Sturmabteilung, also known as the SA and the Brownshirts. They were the 'muscle' behind Adolf Hitler's rise to power, and shortly after that ascention, Roehm was assassinated on the order of Hitler as he consolidated power within the Nazi Party itself. This short work is a defense and explanation of the purpose of the SA, and why they are necessary.
