Stuart Shapiro is a professor of public policy at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. The author of The Politics of Regulatory Reform and Analysis and Public Policy: Successes, Failures, and Directions for Reform, he is also a contributor to The Hill and Newark’s Star-Ledger.

Prior to his time at Rutgers University, Professor Shapiro worked for the Office of Management and Budget under Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Professor Shapiro holds a PhD in public policy from Harvard University.
