I am writing this book in the hope that those who read it will gain some insight into the software development process so that they can improve their own team and produce better software. This book is not highly technical, but instead written for someone who has just started in the software industry or would like to learn more about the industry. Continually completing development cycle after development cycle to reach a production product, I have gained some experience in the best practices of the industry. I hope to share insight from all angles of software as I have worked on a multitude of systems ranging from building a software product from the ground up, to cleaning up large systems. Each task has presented its own challenges and learning opportunities. This book will relay some of what I learned to you so that you may learn it the easy way rather than the hard way…
