The land of the Burren, an ancient mystical land tainted with the magic of the long past gods. The Connell clan settle within the vast stone walls of the ancient fortress of Caherconnell. In time the surrounding lands flourish, much to the jealousy of the original owner, who had hoped failure would befall the Celts. It is the time of the festival ‘Bealtaine’ the chieftain Connell announces that his son Conor has come of age, his father calls on him to celebrate. It is time for him to find his destiny. However as the Celts celebrate the coming of summer; an old enemy from the east covets the land that the Connell clan possess, much to the amusement of the old gods.
