Robyn Franceen Evans grew up between Baltimore, MD and York, PA. The daughter of a pastor and an administrative assistant, Robyn was always surrounded by sermons and letters. It gave her an appreciation for words at an early age. She began reading and writing in pre-school under the tutelage of Dorothy Taylor, also known as Mama Dot. Robyn composed poems, songs and short stories and would often recite them while riding in her mother’s red Monte Carlo. She received a degree in Mass Communications from Towson University and went on to become an award-winning feature writer at the Carroll County Times in Westminster, MD. She is determined to go forth and write in a refreshing way, opening eyes to spiritual truths and winning hearts to Jesus.
