This is a story of how God added to our life through an open adoption. I am a high school football coach and my wife is a middle school teacher. We are blessed with two biological sons. Years ago we felt led to adopt and completed the adoption certification through DSS. We felt God was going to use us to help the life of a child. Amazingly, but not surprisingly, God’s plans were much greater than ours. He not only wanted us to help one child, but He wanted us to help multiple children and extend our families as well. This is the story of how Ruthie, and many others, came into our lives through an open adoption which has blessed many. This story tells how God orchestrated all the events to make it happen and how He has blessed us to see His will unfold. I wrote this story for Ruthie. I want her to see how fearfully and wonderfully made she is. I want her to know how much God loves her, her biological family loves her and how much her adopted family loves her. I want her to know the details that God worked out in early 2014 to bring three families together to share life with this precious.
