Feel: Northern State Hospital - Hardcover

Inhaltsangabe

Feel - Northern State Hospital is a powerful photographic journey into the haunting beauty of an abandoned mental institution-where every crumbling hallway and rusted door tells a story of confinement, forgotten lives, and societal neglect.

Photographer Mark Favero captures the raw essence of Northern State Hospital, inviting readers to explore the silent echoes left behind. More than a collection of abandoned architecture, this work is a poignant metaphor for the way society has historically overlooked mental health.

Through each striking image, Favero challenges us to confront the past and reflect on the present-questioning how far we've truly come in understanding and supporting those who struggle with mental illness.

This book is an invitation to feel: to see beyond the decay, to hear the unheard, and to find empathy in the ruins.
