Rather than scolding him, they gently tell him that anyone can learn to sing-all he has to do is try and not worry about making mistakes. To everyone's surprise, Mr. Offkey not only learns to sing, but his heart transforms. He becomes a kind, vibrant man full of the love of music, adopts a brand-new name-Mr. Onkey-and joyfully returns the music to the garden.
