Once upon a time, fairy tales had happy endings.
This is not one of them.
Your father, King Dorian, lies dying, and only one of his twin heirs can claim the throne. To prove your worth, you must enter the deadly Wild Woods, defeat five monstrous villains, and return alive. Succeed—and you’ll be crowned ruler of Vallorum. Fail—and your story ends in blood and ruin.
Your rival, Prince Keaton, is ruthless and battle-hardened. You, on the other hand, have only your wits, a cursed talking sword, and a book of dangerous spells. But tools alone won’t save you—you’ll need to outthink, outfight, and outlast the nightmares that stalk your path.
Dark magic. Twisted creatures. Betrayal at every turn.
Thirty ways to die. Only one path to survival.
Can you claim the crown—or will your tale end in tragedy?
A brutal, fast-paced interactive adventure where every choice matters. Perfect for fans of Goosebumps®, Choose Your Own Adventure®, and dark fantasy worlds inspired by Grimm’s Fairy Tales.
Click “Buy Now” and enter the Wild Woods—if you dare.

Mark is from a small city just east of Los Angeles where he grew up listening to heavy metal and reading Stephen King novels and short stories. He still lives not far from there with his wife, two children, five cats, and one demon. After graduating with a BA in Sociology from Brown University, he spent seven years boxing and fighting Mixed Martial Arts. When Mark's not writing you can find him doing yoga and jiu-jitsu with his family or sitting for over one hundred hours of tattoos. Lately he has also been teaching himself guitar, bass, and German as a way to help his brain recover from TBI's after years of fighting and neck injuries.Mark lists Chuck Palahniuk and Stephen King as the authors who most influence his own writing. He attests that attending Tom Spanbauer's Dangerous Writing workshop marked the turning point in his career.
