The book started as a correction to History when I found out that Samuel Enderby II had repeated his request to his son in law for American sailors, just before The War of Independance broke out, then finding out their names in a note on a page of an American book first printed in America in the 1779s. The rest of the book is interesting facts found when investigating the Enderbys, who have been sadly neglected by Historians.
