She raises him to Count of the Palace and eligible for a seat in The House of Lords before smallpox kills her.Rocamora obtains a rare divorce. He keeps his daughter and one of their male twins. Rocamora invests with merchants and bankers and becomes one of the wealthiest men in England. He weds a woman who applies to be Governess for his daughter and son. She gives birth to three more. King William auctions titles and land to acquire money for his war against France.
