The Son of Dust: Book One of the Restoration Saga - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

Seven years after Restoration Week, the heroes and villains who went into hiding are still being hunted by the Restoration Task Force. Restoration Day has become a continental celebration of a world without Supers.

Theodore Calder's problems are considerably smaller. He's twenty-four, a college dropout, couch-crashing in his Oklahoma hometown, and newly fired from the last place in town that hadn't already fired or rejected him. His prospects have officially run dry.

Then a runaway semi barrels toward a Restoration Day parade.

Two retired Supers Theodore considers family stop it - with powers they've kept hidden for years. They save everyone in its path. And the town turns on them.

When the crowd demands answers, Theodore lies to protect them.

It doesn't keep them safe for long.

The Restoration Task Force comes for his neighbors, and Theodore has a choice: walk away and hold on to the ordinary life he has left, or protect people his world wants gone.

Less than forty-eight hours after losing his job, Theodore Calder is a fugitive.

For better or worse, he's part of this now.
