Author Gwyn R.C. Moses, also known as Gwyn R.C. Griffin, is a graduate of Richmond, Virginia's Public Schools. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. Alumnae of Virginia Union and Virginia State Universities she has served 33 years as a Teacher and Reading Specialist. In her local community she partners with River City Poets and James River Writers. She has served as a Judge for the Veterans Creative Arts Festival, at the McGuire VA Medical Center. She has obtained a Diploma from West Redding Institute of Children's Literature. Published titles include poetry, Reflections/Connect with God (2007), The Poet's Domain (26), The Burning of the Leaves, "Barren" (2010), Down by the Riverside & My Teacher Made Me Write This & The Poet's Domain (28), Like a Welcome SummerRrain... "Cry to Heaven, & Barefoot" (2013), Olive Grey (2018). Also, she has contributed to VA Bards Central Review, A Poetry Anthology, "River Song, & Young'un Days" (2019). Inspirational titles include, Bees and Butterflies (2018) & contributed Freedom to Be Present, Jesus Expectations for His Daughters, Kingdom Collaboration (2020). As an advocate for school choice, she believes lack of student choice weakens individual self -awareness, and giftedness. Her hope is for more children to have equitable opportunities to thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually, to capsulate purpose.
