Among the Kingdoms (Journey, Band 5) - Hardcover

Inhaltsangabe

It is only treason if we lose!

Lady Katterina has realized at last that her life with her daughter Rapunzel will never be dull; their found family attracts misadventures like dragons to gold. But their small, quirky group isn't without its merits. They have defeated two of the three sisters of sorcery and have information that could destroy the remaining threat.

Too bad the men with power won't act.

The foolish High King flagrantly dismisses their impending peril and blithely goes on planning his tournament among the kingdoms. And their religious ruler hesitates to intervene on their behalf.

Instead, he separates Katterina from the warrior monk who has captured her heart.

Fine. If you can't trust the men to act, then you must go to the High Queen. But the former Goose Girl has felt the sting of betrayal one too many times. Her plans of treachery may lose them the war before the sorceress even strikes.

Katterina and her friends must find their way to stopping the War of Sorcery, but only if they discover the traitor in their midst before it's too late.

Rapunzel and her friends continue their journey, weaving fairy tales and faith together in a lyrical retelling you won't forget.
