Mr. M’s Notebook is a trilogy tracing Mark Blenchard’s career as a high school teacher over a fifty-year period, starting in 1970. The book contains Mr. M’s story, and the stories of the teachers and students he works with at Bailey T. S. Memorial High School in fictional Gorham, Massachusetts. 

In Book 3, Mr. M and his colleagues confront issues facing teachers and students from 2001 to 2021. Although a fictional account, the issues are relevant and contemporary.
