Karen Cioffi is an award-winning author and successful children's ghostwriter with clients all over the world. Karen is the founder and Editor-In-Chief for Writers on the Move and a former staff writer for two online reading comprehension learning centers. Karen's professional memberships include the Association of Ghostwriters, The Professional Writers Association, The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), and The National Association of Independent Writers and Editors. Tom Deisboeck is a scientist-turned-entrepreneur who attended medical school in Germany and business school in the USA. He grew up reading comics from the Franco Belgian tradition like Tintin and Asterix, fueling his passion for drawing from a very young age, and led him to a third career as a cartoon artist. Mostly self-taught, Tom is inspired and propelled by great mentors like Charles Zembillas of The Animation Academy in Burbank, CA, and John Byrne of The London Art College, UK. His editorial cartoons appear regularly in online publications where they focus on current events, including political, financial, and scientific topics. Tom spent many nights reading nighttime stories to his son and enjoys illustrating children's stories with a dynamic, comics style. Tom lives in Massachusetts with his wife, son, and 'super' dog.
