Unlike traditional test prep books, Threads of History uses a thematic approach to help you review content for the AP* U.S. History exam. Each of the 37 lessons focuses on a unique theme in the APUSH curriculum. Data tables in each lesson help you see connections between political leaders, religious movements, Supreme Court cases, policies, wars, and more. Each lesson also includes a primary source document with corresponding multiple-choice and short-answer questions. The Third Edition includes new lessons on Historical Periods 1 (1491-1607) and 9 (1980-present) and a key terms component to amplify the subject matter and provide a deeper understanding of each lesson’s theme.
