Ashley Kehr is the co-host of the BiggerPockets Real Estate Rookie podcast and a real estate investor of eight years. She became passionate about real estate after quitting her staff accountant job to work as a property manager--and within several years, she started two property management companies. Ashley purchased her first rental property in 2014 and has since grown her buy-and-hold portfolio to more than 30 units. Though she started with small multifamily and commercial real estate (even opening her own liquor store!), she has transitioned to investing in short-term rentals and campgrounds. She accredits much of her success to the use of partnerships and creative financing-- and with a dual degree in public accounting and finance, her specialty is creating systems to work efficiently and remotely. When Ashley isn't behind the mic, she is raising three boys on a dairy farm in rural Buffalo, NY.
