When Norene Thomas-Davoren was growing up poor on a farm in the little town of Bennettsville, South Carolina, few people would have thought that the word “success” would ever be associated with her. Yet even by the time she graduated from high school and was heading to the local community college, she was setting herself on a path that could only be headed in one direction…to success! After earning an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration at the community college, Norene set her sights on the next big step: moving to the big city, New York, where she would pursue her passion to help people. She not only attended Monroe College in the Bronx to acquire a Bachelors Degree in Health Science and then attended the Brooklyn Global Campus of Central Michigan University to acquire her Master’s in Health Science Administration, but also, in between, she attended nursing school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and, later, a Registered Nurse. Norene has woven a second strand of success through the first. She has always wanted to help and guide people, not just in their physical health as a nurse and healthcare specialist but also as a coach and a writer. In 2003, she began working on conducting seminars in wound care. As a certified wound consultant with years of nursing experience, she offers doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals seminars on wound care, treatment, maintenance and prevention in the Wound Care Plus Seminar. Her second seminar business, The Davoren Group, is designed for everyone, offering inspiration, motivation, transformation, and empowerment through her Incredibly Simple Success Principles and other wisdom she has gained throughout her life. Though its main office is in Queens, The Davoren Group has presented more than 500 seminars northward through New England and southward to Charlotte, NC. She also offers individual coaching—and now, continuing her never-ending journey of success, Norene Thomas-Davoren has also become a writer in order to spread ever farther the wisdom of her Incredibly Simple Success Principles.
