Galatians and Ephesians: A Latin Reader is meant to assist beginning to intermediate readers with reading and studying of Latin. Since Galatians and Ephesians share many similarities, not the least of which are syntax and vocabulary, these two epistles provide fertile soil for transitioning from the early stages of reading Latin to something with a bit more sophistication. This volume provides glosses for all words from Galatians and Ephesians that appear in the Vulgate New Testament 30 times or less. That is more than 500 words. In footnotes, the lexical form is given along with morphological data and an English gloss. Likewise, lexical headwords and glosses are provided in list form prior to the start of each chapter. There is also a glossary, arranged alphabetically, of all terms appearing 30 times or less.
