This second volume in the series of Taos Baptisms, extracted and published by the New Mexico Genealogical Society, covers the years 1827 - 1837. The extracted records include the name of the person being baptized, the baptism date, the person's age at baptism, names of parents, residence, and names of godparents. Some records also include the names of maternal and paternal grandparents. This volume includes a translation of key Spanish phrases found in the records, along with a key for abbreviations used in the extracted records.
