Inhaltsangabe

CELEBRATING THE ICONIC LEGACY OF SUBLIME The laid-back Long Beach trio spawned an entire genre―fusing reggae grooves, punk grittiness, ska energy, back-porch folk introspection, and hip-hop swagger. The band goes from playing backyard parties and selling cassettes out of the trunks of their cars to creating an entirely new and revolutionary blend of chart topping music. Xanadu meets Superbad in this heartfelt anthology of SUBLIME legends brought to life by RYAN CADY (Green Lantern, Poppy’s Inferno), AUDREY MOK (Archie), ALEX DIOTTO (Youth), HAYDEN SHERMAN (Angel & Spike), LOGAN FAERBER (‘Namwolf), rising stars BILL MASUKU, ROBERT AHMAD and JULIANNE GRIEPP. Featuring brand-new cover artwork by SUBLIME family members OPIE ORTIZ and DJ PRODUCT ©1969! Plus: the one and only LOU DOG!

Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Ryan Cady is a writer of comics and horror fiction based in Southern California. A graduate of the DC Comics Talent Development Workshop, he has written for such properties as The Punisher, Venom, The X-Files, and more, with his first creator-owned series - Infinite Dark, from Image Comics/Top Cow Productions - recently concluding its second volume. When not screaming at blank Word documents, Ryan enjoys tabletop roleplaying games, all things Star Wars, and cooking for his friends. To this day, he considers his early reviews of terrible fast food products for the OC Weekly to be his greatest creative triumph.

Audrey Mok is a Hong Kong based comic illustrator. Her works include "Josie and the Pussycats", "ARCHIE" and "Vampironica: New Blood" for Archie Comics, "Sera and the Royal Stars" for Vault Comics, and various cover works for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Boom Studios and more.
