Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Dr. Roya Akhavan currently serves as Professor and Director of Graduate Studies at the Department of Mass Communications, St. Cloud State University. She is an award-winning educator and scholar, whose research has been published in top international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Akhavan’s work in the field of mass communication extends into a wide range of related areas, including international affairs, peace studies, gender issues, and spirituality in the 21st century. She is a frequent speaker at national and international forums and radio and television programs. Dr. Akhavan has lived and worked in four different cultures: Persian, American, Japanese, and Chinese. She currently lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
