This story is about an ordinary couple who did extraordinary things that could have killed them and their children in the blink of an eye. A Dutch couple who lived in Holland (The Netherlands) during the Holocaust protecting a Jewish couple who in turn protected their infant son. They did not hide the Jewish couple but incorporated them into the family. It is the story of the normal lives of a Gentile Dutch family in the worst of times. It is a story of “Decency and Luck.”
