Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Phillip Rumrill, Ph.D., CRC, is a Professor of Rehabilitation Counseling and Director of the Center for Disability Studies at Kent State University in Ohio. Dr. Rumrill received his bachelors and masters degrees from Keene State College in New Hampshire and his doctorate from the University of Arkansas. He has authored or co-authored more than 130 professional journal articles; 40 book chapters, measurement instruments, and training manuals; and 6 books entitled Employment Issues and Multiple Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis: A Guide for Rehabilitation and Health Care Professionals, Research in Rehabilitation Counseling, Research in Special Education, Occupational Neurology, and Emerging Issues in Rehabilitation Counseling. He is also a frequent presenter at national and international conferences in health care, rehabilitation, and education.

Kimberly Wickert is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who has worked with individuals in the field of rehabilitation for more than 20 years. She has a Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Wright State University. Kimberly has worked with people with disabilities and their families to assist in transitional stages of rehabilitation and recovery.

Danielle Dresden is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor who has been working with people with disabilities and their families for 14 years. She has a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Kent State University. Additionally, Danielle has served as the primary caregiver for several family members and has first-hand experience with the topics discussed in this book.
