How to play. Each game in the book is broken down into 10 rounds. Each round has a puzzle to solve and the puzzles get harder as the rounds progress. It may be a word puzzle, a logic puzzle, a memory puzzle or a reason-based puzzle. Players write down their answers as they progress through the rounds and at the end of a game, check their answers and tally up their scores. All players can then check their individual scores against the brain scale and discover how clever (or dumb) they are, but it is only the winner of the quiz that gets to add their name to the 'Pure Genius' score page at the front of the quiz book.
