Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Jennifer C. Welch, M.S., has served since 2001 as Director of Admissions at the State University of New York (SUNY) Upstate Medical University, one of North America s oldest medical schools. In this capacity, she has guided thousands of prospective students through the entire application process, evaluated thousands of student applications, participated as a voting member on several admissions committees, visited hundreds of colleges and universities, and developed successful recruitment strategies. She has worked in college admissions since 1993 and has advised thousands of students in preparing their applications to college. As a school counselor and a college admissions professional, she has been a successful liaison between prospective students and various academic institutions on both the secondary and collegiate level. In 2006 she founded CollegeBound101 (www dot collegebound101 dot com), an educational consulting company dedicated to helping students maneuver through the college admissions process.
