Joan Friedenberg is coauthor of Effective Practices in Workplace Language Training: Guidelines for Providers of Workplace English Language Training Services. Deborah Kennedy is the founder of Key Words. Ms. Kennedy has deep expertise in English for specific purposes, with a focus on English for the workplace and life skills English. An experienced teacher, materials developer, teacher trainer, and program director, she has taught in and directed programs for adult English language learners at every level of proficiency from basic/beginning through advanced professional, and is experienced in online and face-to-face modes of instruction. She has over 25 years of experience working with governmental agencies and nonprofit organizations, and was formerly the Associate Vice President for Adult English Language Education at the Center for Applied Linguistics. Anne Lomperis is Chief Solution Partner at Language Training Designs, her solo entrepreneurship founded in 1989 and based now in Greater Washington, DC, USA. Her specialty is English for Occupational Purposes (EOP) in support of national economic development, organizational management issues, innovative technology in training delivery, and systematic collaboration with industry experts for customized curriculum development. She is also very committed to EOP professional development for improved quality of service provision, greater recognition of EOP value-add, and therefore increased income generation at industry scale for a worldwide cadre of EOP career specialists. William Martin is coauthor of Effective Practices in Workplace Language Training: Guidelines for Providers of Workplace English Language Training Services. Kay Westerfield's work as a consultant and teacher trainer in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) has taken her to countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. She served on the Board of Directors for TESOL International Association and is co-author of several books, including Effective Practices for Workplace Language Training: Guidelines for Providers of Workplace English Language Training Services.
