Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

For over a decade, Nikos Theodosakis has worked with students and teachers from Kindergarten to College exploring how to use filmmaking in the classroom. As a filmmaker, he has produced and directed short and feature length films around the world including "The Date" which received Canada's Genie Award nomination for Best Short Film. His innovative approach in connecting "classroom-to-community" has earned him provincial and national awards. His recognition includes the Financial Post's prestigious Business and Arts Partnership Award, numerous book and magazine articles including Canadian Living and Today's Parent.

Nikos Theodosakis is a keynote speaker and presenter at local, regional, and national conferences around North America. His background in filmmaking and photography, his love of storytelling and his sense of humor make for highly charged, visually stunning, mind shaking presentations. His goal is to take the excitement and glamour of filmmaking and translate it into opportunities of discovery for learners of all ages.
