Fedhealth's new basic first aid and disaster preparedness manual helps individuals and families prepare for many types of emergencies and natural or man-made disasters before they strike. The book is designed to help people examine how best to react in any emergency situation and prepare each family member to participate effectively. It also includes special sections that specifically address the unique needs of infants, disabled, and elderly family members. A majority of the information was derived from materials provided by FEMA and the American Red Cross and is written at about a 6th grade level with a 2-color format for quick reference.
Fedhealth is contributing a percentage of every book sale to the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Alliance. Two pages in the front of the book are devoted to spreading SIDS awareness by "Advancing Infant Safety and Survival Across America".
