Four modern-day Australian scuba divers come across an old rum barrel wedged under a large rock while diving. They pull the barrel onboard their boat and drink from it, which magically transports them to England, 1818.

In hopes of finding their way back to the place and time they call home, they board a tall ship but soon realize they are under the command of "Benito Bloody Sword Bonito" the most bloodthirsty pirate on the high seas. Join in with their adventurous journey to discover the fate of these four friends.
